Join the Lackawanna Historical Society and The Greenhouse Project for a sneak peek behind garden gates and around the construction tape in four Scranton neighborhoods! “Beyond the Hill: A Tour of Our Favorite Places and Plantings” will take place on Sunday, June 26 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The tour provides an opportunity to learn about the history of city neighborhoods, get a glimpse of ongoing redevelopment projects and little-known gems, and explore private gardens. The tour will include stops in four Scranton neighborhoods- East Mountain, Nay Aug Park, North Scranton, and Downtown. A tour book and map with a suggested driving route will be provided.
