Lackawanna Historical Society's “Places of Worship” tour, in partnership with the University of Scranton’s “Scranton’ Story, Our Nation’s Story” project, will visit six Scranton churches of varying denominations, and will focus on the history of the congregation as well as special architectural details. The May 13 tour departs from Catlin House, 232 Monroe Avenue at 8:45 am to visit Covenant Presbyterian, Bethel AME, St. Luke’s Episcopal, St. Vladimir’s Ukrainian Catholic, United Welsh Baptist, and the Islamic Center of Scranton
