Lackawanna Historical Society's “Places of Worship” tour, in partnership with the University of Scranton’s “Scranton’ Story, Our Nation’s Story” project, will visit six Scranton churches of varying denominations, and will focus on the history of the congregation as well as special architectural details. The May 7 tour departs from Catlin House, 232 Monroe Avenue at 12:45 pm to visit Shree Swaminarayan, St. Peter’s Lutheran, Temple Hesed, St. John Neumann, St. Stanislaus Polish National Cathedral, and the Steamtown Church. It concludes no later that 4:30 pm
